August 2015 Kabul attacks
The Kabul bombings killed at least 50 people and injured about 500 more in central Kabul, near an Afghan army base in the city's District 8.
The first explosion occurred early on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 1:20 am local time. The bomber joined a queue of police trainees waiting to be searched at the entrance to the academy.
It was one of 3 attacks in a 24-hour period in Kabul.
